Age Criteria by Grade.
In line with the Karnataka State Education Department's age norms, a child should have completed 4 years for Junior KG, 5 years for Senior KG, and 6 years for Grade 1 as on 1st June of the academic year. Pre-Nursery/Playgroup begins at 2.5 years, with age criteria progressing accordingly for higher grades.

GoldenBee follows a simple first-come, first-served approach rather than a filtered lottery — places are offered subject to class-size limits and an initial interaction with the child and family.
How are admissions decided at GoldenBee Global School?
GoldenBee does not use a filtered lottery system. Admissions are granted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to class-size caps and the initial interaction with the child and family.
Which curricula and boards does GoldenBee offer?
From Pre-Primary to Grade 7, every GoldenBee student follows our integrated in-house curriculum — blending the best of CBSE and ICSE in line with the NEP and NCF, with IB-inspired teaching methods. From Grade 8, students move onto a board: the Begur Road and BTM Layout campuses offer a choice of CBSE or ICSE, while the Horamavu campus offers CBSE.
Where are the campuses located?
GoldenBee has three campuses in Bengaluru: Begur Road (South Bangalore), BTM Layout (Central Bangalore) and Horamavu (East Bangalore).
Which grades can my child join?
The Begur Road campus admits from Play School to Grade 12. The BTM Layout campus admits from Pre-Primary to Grade 10, and the Horamavu campus from Play School to Grade 10.
